Ah got ma mojo workin'

Here is some of my latest art journal pages
(Sorry again about the terrible close up photography...
or lack of it!)... Camera worriment's (Still!)



Interestingly i seem to subconsciously
be delving into how the worlde (That i create)
~Shapes me~



i say subconsciously as the general process i use
is one that i learned from the fabulous Tasha Moore
(See my sidebar for her link)
Where you paint the background, then taking a magazine...
you firstly run through it cutting out color blocks...
for a border and paste them into your journal
And then you go back through the mag
and roughly cut out images that attract you
(No fine cutting at this stage...
or you start engaging with the conscious mind)
And finally you re~engage with the mag for text
that jumps out at you...
Then you start the construction of your page
cutting, pasting, gluing and without too much thought
put together a page that is aesthetically pleasing to your eye
If there are gaps, again without too much thought
if there seems to be a theme, then run with the words
that start flowing into your mind as a result
Then comes the interesting part...
consulting with your conscious mind
And as you analyze the finished product
perhaps (like me) you may discover a ~Wisdom~ there
that never ceases to surprise and delight me!



Oh and here is some fun little unconscious sketching too
and again i see Butterfly & Dragonfly images
speaking to me of matters of
~Transformation~



and right now THAT sits quite comfortably with me!
