My son the Movie Director...

Last night my son ~Bryce~ had an entry in a local Youth Film Festival

It was a fabulous experience
complete with red carpet
He and his mate (the blonde one who starred in the film) didn't win
But the night was definitely a sign of things to come
(i felt sick with nerves for him!)

For i know in my heart that this is his calling
He is very thoughtful and likes to make films that make people think
he thinks music is an integral part and when he was little
he would close his eyes while listening to classical pieces of music
and ask me what i could 'see' in my mind...
And then he would proceed to describe the ~landscapes~
that the music had created in his

i know one day his movies
will make a difference...

and (PS) Like a typical teenager he's gonna kill me for posting this so shhhhhh...
Don't tell him! *wink*

I love that he is making films... especially the manner of films that you describe. I am completely in love with eyes closed and music creating landscapes ... sigh.

and i love you

You can definitely tell he is your son.... handsome and talented.
I can so relate as I was the same sort of child - always lost in musical dreamscapes....hey - I STILL AM! (Chuckle.) You must be so proud of him!

Love,

♥ Robin ♥

Nolly, how wonderful! You must be very proud! I've always felt that way about music, too ... it always makes me see something. Can we see his film anywhere online? ... xoxo!
