to ~ponder~
i believe i have been given this time
to lay on the grass and to watch the clouds
~float by~
i believe i have been given this time to
sit on my veranda and stare up through the tree branches
until the birds forget that i am ~here~
i believe i have been given this time
and this pain...
to ~feel~ my human~ess
i believe that i have been given this time
to spend time by myself not in ~loneliness~
but as an invitation to travel my ~depths~
i believe i have been given this time
to learn how to ~love~ all that i am
by bearing witness to Mother Natures simple ~beauty~
i believe i am not alone in this journey
and that you too are a reflection
of my ~Soul~
And just so you know...
i believe in Me ...and now more than ever
i believe in ~You~ too

one of the first things i taught my kids, actually the second, was that they are never alone, or by themselves, they are instead WITH themselves, and that we should be our very own best friend first and foremost, and get to know who we truly are.
