The Universe speaks...
While waiting for my doc to phone in response to my tests yesterday...
There was a medical emergency in my neighbourhood requiring firetrucks, police, ambulance and medical helicopter (Landing on the footy ground just nearby)...
Reminding me that there is ALWAYS someone worse off...

Sweetie, there IS always someone worse off, but that does not mean that you cannot feel sadness or fear about where your journey is taking you. That does not mean that just because someone else is having a shocking experience that you are unable to get support for your awful experience. It does however provide a balance and the Universe is always balanced.

Yes it is often good to remember there is worse - as long as we don't remove tenderness and compassion for self and our predicament as a result.
