The ups and downs...

Today i sent this email...

Dear Professor Thomson,

Please accept my apologies for this late follow up, but in the last few months l have had a health setback.I have been in and out of hospital due to side effects to meds and have been really quite ill... (So much so that my husband had to take a month off work to look after me and our family)
So l am contacting you now, to let you know, that l have had disease progression (within my liver and including a lymph node of the pancreas) and due to my situation and my understanding of the Nanoknife procedure, it seems that l would unfortunately no longer fit your criteria for a successful procedure.
So l would like to thank you and your staff very much for the kindness shown me and to let you know that l was very much encouraged by your 'glass half full' attitude towards healing. l wish you all the very best with your future work and may you have much success...

Kindest regards,
Vicki

X:-)

Continued blessings and Bear hugs on your journey.
That's about all a Bear can offer, other than making you tea and holding your paw — ah, um, well, hand. (Hand is what it should be.) Bear is good at paw/hand holding (if I day say so myself).
I had hoped things were getting much better. Sigh!

I gotta send you some of these spontaneous drawings that I have been doing. I think you would get a laugh.

Oh Vicki, does this make it a definite 'No' to Nanoknife surgery? This amazing 'bloggy world' has its trials and tribulations along with yours. We feel your pain. Paws crossed that there is a way. Big Bear Hug from NSW..

Oh, gosh, Nolly Vicki, I wish it were not so. You are often in my thoughts. I think that a lot of us spend a lot of time wishing we could make things better for one another. After all, we tend to share more of our depth, our history, and our real feelings about our lives with our blogging friends than with our face-to-face friends.

Snowbrush you are as real a friend to me as my friends in the flesh xox
