Yep t'was the annual ~Cup~ Long Weekend again
and this year a few of the neighbors and my clan
watched the ~great race~ over a glass of bubbly
over at Cheryl & Craig's (a few houses down) on their big screen...
We held our own cup sweep with first place worth $60
and the last horse home got their $fiver back
Now where else in the world, i wonder...
do they take a day off (or let's face it the whole 4 day week-end!)
all over one Horse Race?... Only in my home~town!

Gotta love Melbourne. We need the holiday its so long since our last long weekend.
Besides it takes a lot of effort to drink and party LOL.
