The population puzzle: Did anyone see the Dick Smith presentation on channel 2 (last night) and ensuing debate... Very interesting, topical and relevant (not to mention very currently a part of our political news)... Still throughout it all i couldn't help visualizing refuge women and children just quite simply needing 'a safe haven'... Why do we get so caught up in 'small country' issues? i think we need to grow up and realise that in this day and age these type of issues are global problems because even if we solved our own Australian view of problems in this area, if the rest of the world is not on the same page, then what have we really solved in the long run anyway?

...And wasn't it funny when Dick Smith brought out "Dick Head" matches... A play on the Aussy version of the "Red Head" matches... i'll always give a clever guy with a sense of humor a listen... Wouldn't you?
