the ~Dragonfly~
has some spiritual significance for me
He comes to me at times
when my Soul needs comfort
he is my reminder to stay ~beyond~
the binds of my physical world
and he is my messenger of whispers
from the In~between
So last night when one flew right into my house
on a warm summers eve
and circled three times my being
before he left...
i decided it was time again, to sit with myself
and ~Listen~
DRAGONFLY - lets us see past the illusion, letting light in so that we can see what we need to see to make our lives better. When we've tricked ourselves into believing that the limitations of physical existence prevent us from changing and growing Dragonfly medicine teaches us to pierce our self-created illusions. Dragonfly reminds us to let our colors shine by using the light within.

That's how I feel about butterflies and hummingbirds. We just need to look around and identify all the messengers in our lives. I read your previous post about the anniversary of the terrible disaster in Australia. Prayers to all those still suffering.
