My favorite quote (from the ABC program "Australian Story" which this week featured one of the son's of TV & Radio personality and musician Red Symons) when he spoke of the brain and thyroid cancer that he has lived with since being diagnosed at age 4...
Was when he spoke about his life philosophy and how he acknowledged his walk with death and how sometimes he has been close enough to kiss him on the cheek, but that he didn't think upon him constantly because he is too busy...

He spoke about how he considered that memory can trap you in the past and that one should concentrate more on the Now and just being

Wise words coming from an 18yr old boy who has just completed his VCE against all odds considering his parents were told when he was a mere babe that he would not survive very long and at best his treatment for brain cancer would leave him severely brain damaged and low functioning... i guess no-one ever actually told Him that!

Wow! i was heavily thinking about Red Symons other child this morning.He has the name Rafael, and I was thinking about Archangel Raphael (who happens to be a healing angel).
I don't watch tv, and no Idea about this story. Coolness.
