How to make a friend of Time

i have three clocks in my house
that don't work...
i keep them partly because they are pretty
or because they remind me of my youth...
i'm like that



Unlike most folk
i like the clocks because they don't work anymore
i like them because they don't tick annoyingly
constantly reminding me of the passing of time
i simply polish them occasionally
and smile... because i'm like that

in this way i figure i don't annoy time
and time doesn't annoy me
and surprisingly i still make the bus ...on ~time~
strange some might say, but like i said...
i'm like that

and (i rationalise) if i'm not rushing about all the time
worrying about the time
then i find that i have more ~time~



for blackberry picking



and apple tree spotting



and chook meditating



...but hey, i guess i'm just like that!
