it took me three months before i realized i had to change my schedule so my puppy girl could run and play with other dogs and wear herself out EVERY DAY! until then, i was exhausted and she wasn't.
it gets better and better and you get lots of free lovely kisses.
Like Kj says, it gets easier. When I got my newest Kitty, he took so much of my time I thought I would never catch up, but just keep reminding yourself how cute he is and how much you love him. xoxo
D E A in that order. Discipline, Exercise then Affection. Remember they don't think like Humans. They never hate, they only react to the immediate, and best of all as you know, ... they LOVE unconditionally.
And do you know what... timing is everything and i think motherhood (of a newborn) is just not the right timing for me right now... i think the whole family is starting to understand this, well everyone except my husband who gets to spend 15hrs at work a day! X:-/
