The little birds

While i was in hospital
a little bird came to visit me...
a ~Swallow~
as i meditated in the early morning sun
on a quiet little plant filled balcony
he would catch my attention
by dancing to and fro past me
in little bliss~filled bursts
he danced for me...

On my return home i looked for his message...
from Scott Alexander King and his book ~Animal Dreaming~

"Once believed to be representations of lost souls made flesh, Swallows are said to be the birds of Heaven and portents of rebirth, here as "angelic" comforts, protectors and guides for Spring, Summer and Winter, but returning to Heaven in the Autumn.
Darting about at great speed and resembling a ship's anchor when in flight, the Swallow marks and symbolically stirs up negative energy so that it may be grounded and moved on. A spiritual guide, the Swallow is capable of guiding individuals together who have soul issues that need resolving, or work that needs to be done on a soul level.
When Swallow has appeared, it's Dreaming is telling you a soul connection has been made, or a soul issue that offers emotional growth has returned on a cyclic level and requires immediate attention."
