FOR DeeDee: Once upon a Christmas time......a *hEaRtFeLt* oFfErInG...
One day, just before Christmas 2005, l found myself looking into the eyes of a stranger, and as he told me that l had a disease that had the potential to take my life away...
...my hEaRt started to fill up with tEaRs...
...and as part of me whispered "l know"...
...my sOuL said to me firmly... "It's time"
And it was on this very night that fAte heard me and shone a light, on a pathway...
... that lead me to a ~wise man~
...He too looked deep into my eyes, and saw LiFe there as well as the dEaTh and instead of foretelling my future (as the doctor had) he simply asked me a qUeStiOn...
..."Are you ready to die?"
...It took me a week... a lifetime... or perhaps it was merely a moment...
...to say...
"l choose to lOvE this pLaCe a little longer..."
...And as in all good fAeRie tALes, a mAgIcAL spell was woven, and the ~wise man~ took me by the hand for a jOuRnEy to the dEpThS of my sOuL ...
...and bEyOnD...
THIS is a true story, this little bLoGgY here... and although at times it will not seem that way... for such are the stories of ones spirit l'm told...
Truth...
Is merely mY story...
Honesty...
Is simply my tEaRs...
...and YoU maybe a figment of my iMaGiNaTiOn...
...for all wE know...
