Last night my friendly neighborhood
~fabric faerie~ came back for a visit...
with more *treasures*

My lovely neighbor Marita told me a story
about a friend, who had a friend
who's elderly mother had died recently

Now apparently this elderly lady
was very crafty...
The story goes that she suffered depression
for most of her life
and to ease the pain of this...
she made ~beautiful beaded trimmings~
so exquisite in their daintiness
and so intricate in pattern
that i just can't get my old camera to do them any kind of justice

So now this lady's daughter
wanted the ~beautiful beaded things
to go to someone who would appreciate them
and when my lovely neighbor saw the boxes
that these gorgeous treasures were stored in...
she knew in her heart who they should now belong to...
Can you guess why?

But what of the ghostie story you might ask?
Well as my two neighbors and i were ooo-ing and ahhh-ing
at these amazing treasures and i was saying that i should do something
~meaningful~ with them...
My lights began to flicker just softly at first and then slowly and more intensely...
until they stayed off for 20 seconds or so and on again, off for 20 seconds or so and on again...

NONE of the other household lights that were on, in the same area
were affected... and no these lights are NOT on a separate connection...
Even my teenage daughter had her mouth open
because it was just so obvious to all that beheld this little moment
that ~spirit~ was speaking to us...

And so *Thankyou* ~dearest departed one~
i will honor your hard work by creating with these beauties
only with my hEaRt to help hEaL other ~dear hearts~

HI Vicki -- How wild is this -- I was just reading your blog before I climb into bed and there you are leaving me a comment on mine. I bet you are just up with your morning tea?
I love the look of these trims!
You are the perfect person to have them and I know you will make beautiful things out of them, not just in looks but because of the intention behind their creation.
The ghost things..... I commend you. I'm too chicken!
I can imagine all the spirits around you dear Vicki, bees to honey to your loving heart.
Thanks for the story, I love it. I hope you show us what you make.
I am seeing retrieved dollies with beautiful gowns and beaded wings.
I love this story! It is amazing how spirit finds ways to communicate.
