How sweet :0)
the little dickens- how funny!!
this year, as spring approaches, I am going to put outside some bits of thread, yarn, doggie fur. I think this should help them out when building their new nests.... :--)
love to you dear friend!
Fletcher and I always blamed the washing machine for missing socks -- said it got hungry and ate them. Now I think maybe the house elf was playing tricks on us.
I love the picture of the kookabura on the clothesline. I can just picture little kookaburas wearing dresses and britches fashioned from pink socks. Maybe I'll paint that!
Hugs and love,
Nancy (nanakin1)
Ooh, pretty little bird. I never knew what a Kookabura looked like until now. We used to sing the song all the time with the children at work but never really knew what one looked like. lol. Learn something new everyday :). Great shot and story.
I used to sing that song too - with my sister when we were kids. Love seeing the kookaburra. Isn't that something about the socks! Love this - thanks!
Hee! Hee! Now we can all stop blaming the poor 'ol washing machine &/or house faeries/elves! X;-)
(Ps) That is a beautiful idea Sandy
...Just like you to think of that! X:-)
