Oppz and i NEARLY forgot...
(Hanging out with Frida-see below-will do that to ya!)
It's the 3rd... so ~Welcome~ to my studio tour X:-)
Hold on to your hatz!
Once upon a time there was a girl
who lived in a teenie weenie cottage
and in the wee hours while her 3 babies slept
she would drag out her sewing machine to the kitchen table
each night and then pack it away again before dawn
because she just ~loved~ so much to make ~dollies~
and there just never was enough space...

One day a *magical* thing happened and she inherited some $ers
and she *squealed* with delight because in her ~dreams~
she always had her own little studio...
The builders soon came to extend the little house
but discovered that there just wasn't quite enough ~dollars~
to complete her dream...
But the builders, being really ~Angels~ in disguise
transformed her little laundry~room into her ~Dream space~ instead
and even the ~beautiful~ painter, being really a wizard incognito
painted her little room for ~free~

and Oh so ~happy~ has she been in her lovely little room
that visitors could even ~feel~ the little room
that *Love* built...

But as in all True Faerie Tales
as the girl's dreams grew...
so did her need for it to manifest it into the flesh

and so one day with the help of some wonderful on-line dreamers like herself
she decided to "Come~out" and declare herself an ~ARTIST~
Thankyou Suzi-Blu, Erica, Zom, SweetMango, Tascha, Mystele,
Sandi, Sydney LilleDiane, LisaCole, Maggie, KJ...
and so many more on-line artist friends listed to the right>
And then just like *magic* a new space appeared in her cottage

because as we all know, and as all good Faerie Tales are all about

if you follow your ~Heart~ your ~Dreams~ will always come True!
~The End~
or make that
~The Beginning~

*Now off you go and check out all those other ~Creative Wonderlands~ HERE
and ~Thankyou~ so much for dropping by ~Nolly Posh's~ little space in cyber worlde

I just unpacked my beautiful stocking. I didn't have a fireplace in my new home, so one day before I moved in... Superman, being the awesome super hero he is.... took me to little second hand store in his area. Guess what?? I found a sweet fireplace there. The kind you can set up in any room because it has a plug in set of logs... LOL well I am so HAPPY to have it because I vowed my Nolly Posh stocking will adorn my fireplace year round. I'll send you pics as soon as I get it all arranged cute-like.
I adore you! I'm so happy you have your studio to play in. A large one... to create large dreams and large smiles just like mine is because I have one of your lovely creations. <3 <3 <3

Beautiful post. Thank you for sharing your studio and your story.
xoxo
P.S. We missed you at the gallery opening in Blogland.
What a terrific fairy tale (with a true fairy tale ending). I started my own creative space first in a walk-in closet - then graduated to sharing the laundry room, and now have a room of my very own. Come join me in a virtual cup of tea on the tour!
You are so cute. I am so happy you are making a success with your dollies. You deserve every bit of success you find. Yes I believe they look like you Nolly Dolly.

Lovely space. And very fab music. I also liked your comment about loving your children so much that sometimes it aches. Good Mommy Stuff.
I love your little fairy tale, and the fact that it turned into a real life fairy tale. I bet you are loving your"spot" to play and create in.
Wishing you many happy hours in your new studio!

OOh, the first dream room looked cramped but fantastic! And the new one is just beautiful! And very good things came out of both, sounds like many happy hours have been spent between them. Tell me, where is the second space then? In another room in your house?
And yes, you certainly ARE an artist! :-) yes yes yes!
PS: I've wondered and wondered where you do your work, so when you said you were going to do this I was very excited!!
Oh I really enjoyed reading your little fairy tale! Wonderful! Go for it! I think it's wonderful you declared yourself an artist!!!!!!
