Yesterday i spent some time
with a Gentleman
unused to speaking with his Heart
Having spent the last year mourning
his True~Love's passing...
But on this day in the Sunshine, over tea
and in one synchronized space of time
Orchestrated by spirit
of this i am certain
He recognized the safety of the moment
and spoke with tears in his eyes
and eventually a smile on his lips
For he was ~safe~
in a Circle of Women
His daughter, my first~born and i
Bearing witness to the
~Human Journey~
in all it's fragile Beauty
and strength of Spirit
Is a gift to me of the Highest order
To be given the opportunity
to watch through the eyes of my Heart
is ~Love~ in all it's truest sense
i have had many moments like this in my Life
Truth is, my Life, and Yours too
are simply Strings of these Moments
all joined together
vibrating to an invisible Song
of the Spirit
At bus stops...
in supermarkets...
reading the tarot
All moments of magnificence to me
and all the more tender for their fragility
and synchronized Beauty
i see my Bloggy Worlde this way too...
i see this cyber world as a Reflection
in it's most Simple, Beautiful and Magical sense
of all the magic of the Human Journey
and sighhh when people moan about 'wasted time'
spent here in the Never~Never
For to me it is but magical moments
beautiful vibrating ~Human Moments~
all strung together
show casing The Universe working in it's most Spectacular
~Splendor~ and Synchronized Magic
Time spent here
touching the lives of others
that we may never have had the opportunity
to cross paths with
is never .wasted. time
and something i hope i never 'need a holiday' from
For where would i be
if i took a holiday from
my ~Heart~

Never! It's a deal (((hugs))) x
Life is fragile. but beautiful, both in real life and in the bloggie world. And that reality needs to be expressed, as your poem did so eloquently, and your friend did with such tenderness.
i love this post too. And my bloggie friends are some of the best friends I know. xoxoxoxo
nolly, this is all just beautiful but that last line is stunning!
my little heart tries (and fails) to protect itself with toothpicks, so i've given up. i'm wide open.
and true friends on the blogs: yup.
love

Your dad reminds me of mine. He's been gone six years now but my mother died 15 years before and he never recovered. It was hard watching him cry but he needed to vent his emotions sometimes with someone he could trust and yet maintain his masculine exterior. Lovely prose/poem because it has resonance for me. His heart won't heal but time will make things better. He's fortunate to have you girls there for support. As for blogpals. They are indeed wonderful. I believe like attracts like and I'm so lucky to have such a loyal and lovely little band of followers. kj's right . . the heart's wide open!
Marvellous stuff Nolly. And how nice to hear Lara Fabian on the ipod thingy!
I love that lass; what a voice! What a vocal range. I thought Yma Sumac was superb with her wonderful range, but Lara is just so beautiful in every way.
You speak the Truth dear Vicki and it is wonderful to Hear.
