Spirit Blacksmith

Yesterday i went deeper into the Hills
that surround my Home
to a tree filled valley...
and a Man

i was nervous
visiting a Stranger
with my Secrets
and shaking at my core
but i needed to know more...
about Myself

He was Kindly
and i could see something penetrating in his Eyes
a Deepness, a Sacredness of Spirit
that took me far from this Place
and this Time...

He smiled at me
and in Reverent tones
began to speak to my Body
soft probing questions
about this Earthly Journey
of Mine

And although his words were gentle
and his touch was firm
but not aggressive
i felt my Heart was ruptured open



like a violent Earthquake
and my Life rushed forth as a Wave
on the shore of Myself



As he probed Deeper
Time lost all meaning for me
and my Mind lost the ability
to keep tabs...
"Be still and Breathe Deeply"
he whispered Softly
to the room

So he Unearthed the Sacred Answers
from the Deepest of The Deep and Beyond
so my Ears could Hear
the Screaming of my flesh
from my tightly contained and chained
~Soul~



And thus he does this work most Hallowed
quietly below the tall tree canopy
Deep in the hills of my home

LATEST ALERT: A 7.8 magnitude and a 7.3 magnitude earthquake have struck off the northwest of Santo, Vanuatu, and Pacific islands - including New Zealand - are on tsunami warnings of varying levels.

The quakes hit at 11.03 NZ time and 15 minutes later and the epicentres were located around 373 km north-northwest of Santo, Vanuatu, at a depth of 33 km, the US Geological Survey said.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre in Hawaii has issued a tsunami warning in effect for Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, Fiji, Kiribati, Kosrae, Wallis-Futuna and Howland-Baker.

A tsunami watch, a lower level of alert, has been advised for both New Zealand and Australia as well as Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, the Cook Islands and Indonesia. Any wave would reach New Zealand around 2.34pm.
