i ~love~ listening to Garrison Keillor and his tales of Lake Wobegon
i love his humor and his grace and his gentleness
Do yourself a favor one day...

~ I love Garrison too!~
I got to see him this past Sunday night~ right here in Richmond Va.~
my oldest son Gabriel went on line a got his mom(thats me) a ticket~& gave it to me for Christmas~
He was so proud of his gift~ & I was blown away~
when we were in the car one day~listening to NPR~ they announced that he was coming on Jan.18-09~ Gabriel knows how much I love him~ he was like ~why don't you go~ to expensive~says I~
But~ that darling boy~ got his mom a ticket~
And~ it was wonderful!~
I had such a wonderful evening~

I love him too!! I've been to two tapings of his show actually. And one of "This American Life" with Ira Glass---you should check his radio show out too. It is hilarious--and full of the most interesting and many times reflective stories.

Peace & Love.

Here is the link for This American Life:

You HAVE to go check out Story Corps---you WILL LOVE THIS!!! Story Corps travel all over the US, and people can go and record a story from their life or interview a loved one--each segment is only like two or three minutes long. Bring some kleenex!! Each one is a gem.

ME TOO! Every Sunday, I feel so nostalgic when I listen to him. Usually I am in the car going to the gallery, but I imagine sitting by the fire listening to him.
