Little Miss Lolly got her body

and a painting



that says...

*The little painting is on an old Thomas the Tank Engine card...
i picked up a bundle of them in an op shoppe...
They are a great size for 'mini art' and nice and sturdy
and little Miss Lolly's head and hat are a wooden off cut from
'Reverse garbage' (i love that place!)

She came into 'being' with a little ditty
that danced around my head...

Little Miss Lolly's 'truly' life:

She tried to live a 'normal' life
She really truly did...
But each and every time she did
Her bird would 'flip his lid!'

"Speak the words within your heart"
He would sing and coo...
"For deep inside within that space,
Is the true and honest you"

"And it's important to live your life this way"
The bird would always sing...
"For your life is meant to reflect outside,
The beauty that lies within"

"That's why your heart is a joyful place,
when you close your eyes and ~feel~
So open your eyes and take that ~love~
and turn it into 'real' "

So she went and bought a funny hat
for that was her 'truly' self...
and plonked the little bird, her friend
on the toppermost little shelf!

and together they spent a wonderful life
they traveled wide and far
and Lolly never forgot to close her eyes
and wish upon a star...

For her bird was really the reflection
of all that was kind and true...
and little Miss Lolly, is the sweet little angel
who lies within the heart of you! <3
