Today i am just sitting
and thinking...
my sister is going to pop over for a coffee
because yesterday she stepped out of her front door
and a dragonfly bumped into her nose
literally (!!!)
she knew that this meant
that i was sitting
and thinking...
she's clever like that

(Ps) i had a dream the other night
that i was in a war zone
again...
(it's an old, old repetitive dream from my teenage years
i seem to hang onto things)
it's usually about an alien invasion
and yet consciously i am not fearful of such a thing actually occurring
this time i was trying to shield my children
with large pieces of spare roof tin
(the spare bits of color bond we have lying in our garden
left over from our home extension)
i wonder what my deepest self is trying to tell me?

I have been trying to remember to use my dreams to practice in. Like, if I remember, I try to not run from monsters (and instead ask them what they want), not let myself be distracted from adventures by obsessing over a lost purse, etc
I love your little guy...he's so cute.
I wish I could remember more of my dreams but one side effect of my meds is that I seldom ever remember them any more.

Oh My Goodness! I dream about alien invasions all the time. I am always trying to protect my "babies" (the youngest is 26 today!) and I always think in my dream...."It is real this time, it is not a dream" I always wake in a panic, and have to get up for a while before going back to sleep.
Weird hey?
