About Lara and her heart...
My Lara is special
she has such a big heart
that sometimes it overflows
onto paper...

This is the piece that won her first prize
in a recent mothers day competition...
and it caused my heart to overflow tOO
(Gustave Klimt's "Mother and Child)"MUM"
Where can i start? Without her big beautiful and her patient personality, she wouldn't be who she is now. She's always cooking up a magnificent, magical storm and it's always raining dolls, handmade of course, by her famous name called Nollyposh. If you ever get a chance to meet her, you can always spot her inspirational , bubbly personality just waiting to spring out. She's great to hang out with and you have to sit down and have some tea with her.
When i first heard that mum had cancer, everything fell around me. I thought i was going to lose her if this wasn't going to go. When i visited her in hospital when she was having chemotherapy. i watched her sit there while the nurse injected her with the chemicals. When i was there, i thought that it would do no good. i cried myself to sleep a lot of the time. But of course she thought of the glass half full and said that it was about eating and that it was a lesson we needed to be taught. i took a closer look at what she meant and i understood. i love my mum because she doesn't give up, she keeps high spirits even with all the side effects she had. She didn't want her journey to end and she knew something had to be done and fast! After months and months of determination, the cancer went- Everyone was ecstatic and so was i. It took her a while to get back on her feet. Everything seemed normal.
With complete sadness the cancer came back but she chose radiotherapy instead. i walked with her to and from it and it brought us closer together. All the cancer's gone now. If i had one wish, it would be for mum to live to 100.
Happy Mothers day

You are both so blessed to be mother and daughter -- two glorious beings with an incredible understanding of each other and an incredible bond.
Hugs to all,
Nancy (nanakin1)
Jaysus Vicki I'm sobbing here.. your daughter shines through you...what a beautiful post, thanks for sharing it
Oh Vicki, she sounds so lovely - just like her Mamma! You truly were sent an angel, and she arrived via an angel! That was such a beautiful post - I am going to come back and visit it whenever I need reminders of what to be grateful for!
Love to you and the charming Ms Lara!
xoxoxo
What a beautiful and wise young lady. How you must love her, Vicki....and rightly so.xx♥
That is very beautiful. I don't know what to say ... like mother like daughter ... both amazing.
A very moving and heartfelt essay. Your daughter's willingness to be open and honest with her feelings is impressive in one so young.
Or one so old for that matter.
I loved it.
This is one of the sweetest, nicest, most wonderful posts I have ever read - or ever hope to read! You have a wonderful daughter, because you are a wonderful mom. Blessings all around. <3 to all
I loved the astronomy art which added extra sparkles to the cement that bonds your family togetherness. Keep the family strong so they are not pulsed by the little setbacks. I believe in angels and what they do. I can tell angels inspire what's going on at your house because it's spilling over to our house on the other side of the planet. Always send angels and sparkles, please. Thank you for the food processing tips for Barry. We like to keep trying different blends. Thank your daughter for helping me help Barry. (((HUGS)))
Thanks guys <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 and Thankyou for dropping by Linda it is such a pleasure to meet the ~Angel~ in Barry's life xox
Vicki, now I had a really tough time trying to hold it together after reading Lara's beautiful ode to her mother. As a matter of fact I couldn't hold it together.
Lara is a beautiful, wonderful girl and you must be so proud.

Yes, I am teary eyed, too. Every day at the tree house we say a special prayer for nolly posh and her fans. You are a wonderful example of motherhood. Your daughters, well they are your precious followers, and will pass along to their children what you have taught them. And it appears you have another writer in the family, too. Very nice!! Much love to you all. <3 <3 <3 <3
Hugzzzzzz
Awwwhhh Thankyou LD <3

How very beautiful. Your Lara is so precious. What a tribute.
I also feel that my Lara(Larissa) was sent to me. When my Mom passed away, it was like a part of her went to my Lara. I have always felt, that I had the most patience for my Mom, and for my daughter. Someone else could/would be way too hard on her. She is so unique, so fabulous, and also so difficult , ...like my Mamochka.
Lara has many difficulties in her young life. I've told her that I don't know why she has so many challenges that make her (and me ) cry. Children should be more carefree. I tell her that it is because she will have an easier life later on, and that she has something special in her. She is writing her 3rd book.
I am so very pleased for your good health now. My husband is going though stage IV lung cancer. There is so much more with that. He went to a healer today, a student's friend who was visiting. She told him that he had 3 tall men looking out for him-that she saw them. My hubby is 6'2". Something looked different in his face today- like there was less stress. He is prayed for by so many.
I am so pleased to have found you. xo Lydia
