(in preparation for the summer heat)

then mum popped in
and because the new vegie patches are still bare (!?!)
ooooooh....
she gave us a tomato plant...

A lovely look at life on the opposite of where we are now. We are getting a drop in temps, a chrispness to the air, pumpkins are being sold, and plants, candles, foods in colors like mustard, rust/orange and copper, cream, olive green and browns. Nature here is waning with the calendar, and there she is bursting with freshness and blossoming. Isn't that just amazing (and, somehow, perfect)?
Your place looks like a lovely place to be. Our tomatoes are all gone now, as we wait for the first cold snap of the season. Have a good day or good night ( I know y'all are ahead of us but I don't know how much).

This post took me off guard for a moment...as it is spring your you, it is fall for me. You are beginning to come out of your hibernation and I am beginning my journey inward...
i know it's so weird... but this last Winter when i was 'shivering in my boots', i would 'pop in' on ~you guys~ and imagine myself surrounded in the warm Summer hEaT and it warmed my ~heart~ xox
