You are so lucky to have had him in your life.
I met my grandpa only a few times. My father's parents I never met. Both of my parents died many years ago. I became an 'elder' much too young.
(Darling, you can call me DeeDee, DDZ or anything you want. I like the name DeeDee, but it feels too vulnerable as my worldly name. I would secretly be happy for you to call me that.)
