Heavy daze

It's a smoke filled day today

where shadows lay heavily on the ground

where lavender scents on limp brown stems
struggle to drift on a ladened breeze

and cats make kitty burrows in the dried out grass

Blessed be

The kitty burrow is nice...I'm so sorry for all of the suffering of your Victoria, but am happy to know that you and your family are ok.

Prayers to those who lost loved ones including all animals both wild and tame in Victoria. Thoughts from the US are with you all.

xoxo,
Leslie

(((Hugz))) to Leslie

My daughter Lara packed up all her Barbies and paraphernalia that she is no longer into and sent them up to the kids that have been fire affected... i hope we all remember to ~stay~ as generous x

How wonderful of Lara! She IS your kid after all though, so I am not surprised!

Have you any friends there that you haven't heard from? Everyone OK? I can't believe you are still getting smoke... It must be hard to take a good breath with confidence Nolly.

We have been very lucky that the fires near us have been contained so we are no longer suffering the smoke days like you now are.
It makes it hard smoky days, i hope the wind changes soon and you will be able to have a break from it.....better yet, i hope the fires get controlled and put out...enough is enough hey?
stay safe, smile even when it feels hard to.
I am thinking of you and I love you.
xxm
p/s Tell Lara she is a legend, and I think she is beyond great....Sydne is right though, she is your daughter, i wouldn't expect anything less :)
