You're so lucky!! I miss my grandparents. They have all passed. I was named after my Grandfather. His name was Connie too. He was named after his dad, who was named after his dad, and so on for generations. I'm the first female Connie in a long line of men! It wasn't going to be that way actually...my Mom wanted to name me Tiffany, and my dad Penelope. Yeah. But, there's a big story, accompanied with newspaper clippings, to show that 2 days before I was born my Grandpa, who was a truck driver at the time was held up by gun point, beaten, and hijacked. The story goes that he begged them for his life because his first grandchild was about to be born. They tied him up, took him down to lake late at night and released him. Telling him to count to 100 then turn around and make his way back to the city. I saved my Grandpa's life...and I wasn't even born yet! Then once, in third grade...I was in school and had this overwhelming feeling that I should go home. I wasn't sick or anything..but I lied and told my teacher I felt sick. They sent me to the office, and I asked to go home to my grandparents. My Grandma picked me up, and dropped me off at her house then went shopping. Grandpa was working at home then. About an hour later or so, he walked into the living room and fell on the floor. He was having a heart attack. I was the only person there to call the ambulance. Second time I saved his life. Seeing your Grandpa just made me really miss mine. As you can tell, we were deeply connected.

Peace & Love.

wOw! What a story... You were like his little guardian angel... How beautiful Connie X:-)I LOVE stories like that... A beautiful example of how we are all connected to each other if only we listen to that inner voice and follow our hearts X:-) *Hugs* Vicki xox (Ps) In my Nana's family we have a tradition that the first born girl receives their mothers first name, as their second/middle name... (ie)I have my mothers first name as my middle name and l gave my daughter the same (Only l gave her Victoria as Vicki didn't sit right with Tamsyn... But the sentiment is still there l figure) xox
