Butterfly heaven

Butterfly Heaven by colorfulexpressions.
"Why mourn the cocoon when the butterfly has flown." -- Taoist meditation
...fly well dear Milton for today we say goodbye...

Last night i sat with my kids and i talked about the past with them...
i talked about the times when i though that perhaps i had not been the 'perfect mum'...
i talked about some of the anger and hurt and regrets i have inside about not being worthy of them...
i told them how much i love them and always will...
i held them tight and whispered in their ears and buried my face in their hair...
i asked them to forgive me for my imperfections even though they have ALWAYS come first and are ~everything~ to me...
i did this because my heart told me to...
i did this because every moment is precious...
i did this because my life would be nothing without them in it...
I did this because every moment is precious...
i did this because i love them so...
i did this for all the mums that didn't get the chance...
i did it for Milton...
i did this because every moment is precious...

and i thought about all the 'butterfly kisses' we have shared...

Tomorow, I will have to sit down with my children and do the same!

Once again, thank you.

Beautiful. Every moment IS so precious.

I love that you did it for all the mums that couldn't too. That would be my mum... and my dad as well. They weren't capable, weren't that kind of person.

I can tell you with certainty that your children are so blessed to hear those things. It gets in there and makes it's mark, no matter how young they may be or what they understand of it now.

Bravo lady.
